The Elysium Project
Creating the Best of All Worlds

This Genie-Vision mini-book serves as an excellent introduction to the empowering life-work of Dr. Gene Landrum.

Dr. Landrum, a great man who has carefully studied,  and has written extensively about, actualized human potential, realizes the importance of emulating larger-than-life heroes when treading the road to greatness.

According to Dr. Landrum, mythical and fictional heroes demolish the self-imposed limits we unwittingly inflict upon ourselves. And mortal heroes demonstrate what is humanly possible.

So I'm on the right track by emulating Hercules, Conan and a handful of other strong-man heroes from myth and fiction. And in choosing Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of my mortal inspirations. Arnold, who incidentally portrayed Hercules and Conan on the silver screen, epitomizes the heroic physique and has certainly demonstrated - through his own life - the Power of Passion. Arnold has always dreamed big, and has actually attained almost all of his dreams. He is the perfect person to emulate on my Destiny Quest.

Arnold recognized the immense value of Mythical Mentoring. As he sculpted his physique, he studied the lives of conquerors, was inspired by Sword & Sandal epics, and emulated Reg Park - a bodybuilder who had already accomplished what Arnold wished to attain.

Despite all of his accomplishments, Arnold's journey has had more than its share of missteps and mistakes.  These too contain valuable life-lessons well worth contemplating.

Onwards!
