Mythic Physique: Book Reviews

I like D/C Russ. We've never met, but we've exchanged many an e-mail over the years. I admire and applaud his life-work and have always found his products extremely helpful with getting past the walls of limiting beliefs and in facilitating the process of making changes.

D/C also reminds you, while helping you reframe or transcend your current situation, that growth is a life-long process and that there will always be challenges on the road ahead.

Manifest Now is an interesting book. It is full of practical techniques to try out, generously accompanied by links to the source material or to videos of actual demonstrations.

At heart it seems to be a rather unique exercise book for Prayer Warriors. Continuous communion with the Divine, however you happen to conceive it, is greatly encouraged. And the work's core metaphor is boxing. You take jabs at your limiting beliefs throughout the day, and sometimes hit them with knock-out punches like the Haymaker Method.

Lots to experiment with here, but I am determined to be counted among those who've actually attempted to apply each and every technique offered. This may take some time...

Although I commune with the Universe on occasion, and sometimes pray (almost always for others), I do not do this instinctively or automatically. What would happen if I did? How would my approach to life, and the results it generates, actually improve by letting go and surrendering to a Higher Power? How would an even greater connection with Olympus make me an even better Hercules and influence my sculpting a Mythic Physique? This seemed like the best place to start. More to follow...

Week One: I've been focusing on making spiritual alignment a priority and communicating mentally with the Highest.

Week Two: I re-read the Preface and contemplated its message: we are creative beings and the key to our bliss can only be found within.

Week Three: I feel increasingly more spiritually aligned and greatly empowered whilst communicating with the Highest. I re-read Welcome to the Wild Ride and my belief that sculpting my Mythic Physique is part of bliss is strongly reinforced.

Onwards!
