Mythic Physique: Supplement Reviews

I had taken several weeks off from exercising before starting Fitness Quest 2015. Now, three weeks into it, I am back to performing my full workout routine, albeit with less resistance and fewer reps.

And for the first time in a very long time, I am hungering for much, much heavier weights. This is a welcome development as I greatly miss pumping iron. In Pennsylvania, before I was diagnosed with Diabetes, I enjoyed working out in my home gym. I had two benches, one of them set up for squats, a straight up & down leg-press, and a universal-type machine.

Alas, I have these things no more and, until recently, believed those days behind me.  I do have many dumbells, however, some adjustable, and plenty of plates. Really big bodies have been built with much less.

So now I'm going for less reps with greater weights, and it feels really good. The Charles Atlas ® program has built, and continues to build, a solid foundation of muscle. The dumbells, with help from my paleo-style diet, will help them grow even larger. Increased rest and supplementation should further assist.

My meditations help my body rest, and I've always had success with the occasional use of Creatine. So I picked up a twenty-day supply of CREATINE X 3 (TM)  from my local pharmacy, and on Sunday July 19, 2015 I took three after my evening workout. My muscle-building experiment has begun!

A week later: I have been using heavier weights so it is hard to tell if my increases in musculature is due to the workouts or having ingested Creatine. I seem to recall once reading that Creatine must be cycled and taken with simple carbs. I don't know if this still holds true with current formulations, so it is time to do some research...

Another week later: More visible gains. I've been taking the creatine with a very small amount of cherry and/or pomegranite juice in water.

Yet another week has passed: Noticable muscular growth.

Week Four: Ditto. I am pleased with the results I have obtained thus far.
